The shipper or freight forwarder books cargo space with the shipping line and receives a booking confirmation.
2. Cargo Preparation
The shipper prepares the cargo, ensuring proper packing and documentation.
3. Shipping Instructions
Shipping Instructions (SI) are submitted to the shipping line to prepare the Bill of Lading.
4. Export Customs Clearance
Export customs clearance is completed at the origin country using required documents.
5. Gate-In & Vessel Loading
The container is gated into the port terminal and loaded onto the vessel.
6. Bill of Lading Issuance
After vessel departure, the shipping line issues the Bill of Lading.
7. Sea Transit
The vessel sails from the origin port to the destination port under OPS Line supervision.
8. Arrival at Destination Port
The shipping line issues an Arrival Notice. The consignee completes import customs clearance and arranges inland delivery.
